1. What we collect
When you generate an API key we collect the email address and optional company name you provide, plus basic request metadata (such as IP address and timestamps) used for rate limiting and abuse prevention. The API itself processes the billing-reference inputs you send (such as codes, CCNs, and payer names).
2. How we use it
We use this information to provision and rate-limit trial keys, operate and secure the service, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about your access. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Do not send PHI
Trial and beta access is not covered by a Business Associate Agreement. Do not send protected health information (PHI) or other sensitive personal data through the public API or playground. Use synthetic or de-identified values for evaluation.
4. Data retention
Trial key records and rate-limit counters are retained only as long as needed for the trial period and abuse prevention, then purged. Email addresses are hashed where used purely as an account identifier.
5. Third parties
We use infrastructure and bot-protection providers (for example, Cloudflare) to deliver and secure the site. These providers process limited request metadata on our behalf.
